The purpose of the Long Beach Community Cat Foundation (LBCCF) is to support small grassroots cat trappers and cat colony managers (caretakers) in the cities of Long Beach and Signal Hill, particularly in areas with the greatest need.  

GOALS

Raise awareness of community cats as members of our community.

Stabilize and reduce the populations of Community Cats thru humane, targeted Trap Neuter Return (TNR) and cat colony caretakers in a consistent, organized, and structured manner.

Educate Community Cat caretakers on their physical and emotional well-being.

Increase the availability of high quality, low cost spay neuter (S/N) programs.

Establish cat caretaking as an activity of pride and professionalism.

Establish a sustainable network of cat caretakers and trappers through education and training.
